Ring Loss Protection Plan
Unfortunately, accidents happen. However, we know your Balfour® High School Ring is precious to you, so we automatically protect it against loss or theft. This protection is in effect for four years from the date of purchase on all original rings purchased after July 1, 1998, and is limited to a single replacement of your original high school ring during the four-year period. This protection plan excludes diamonds, genuine stones and championship rings.
What you need in order to replace your ring:
- Ring Loss Protection Plan/Warranty Card
- Original order form receipt
- Police report number (if applicable
- Explanation of circumstances of loss
Terms of Replacement:
The specs for your replacement ring must be identical to original ring: stone, metal, date, school and all other options.
Request for replacement must be made within 45 days from date of loss.
To request a replacement, please complete a Balfour Loss/Theft Report form, and send it with the original order form receipt and a check or money order for the deductible to:

Warranty
Your Balfour® class ring is special, and we have hand-crafted it especially for you to ensure years of enjoyment. That’s why we offer the following warranty services to be performed without charge for the original owner of the Balfour class ring:
- Repair defects in workmanship or materials at the time of original delivery*
- Resize ring (all rings can be resized up to two sizes)
- Clean and polish your ring
- Exchange your ring if your year of graduation changes at the same school, at no charge
- Exchange your ring for a ring of similar design and comparable value if you change schools before your year of graduation**
- If the ring is damaged or worn beyond repair or resizing, it may be exchanged for a ring of current design and comparable value at Balfour’s current remake charge.
Damages resulting from improper handling or lack of care are not covered by this warranty
- This warranty is void if work is performed on your ring by someone other than Balfour
- Your Balfour High School, 10K, 14K or 18K white or yellow gold ring may be traded in for credit toward the purchase of a Balfour College ring. The trade-in credit will be based on the prevailing price of gold at the time of trade-in
This warranty, effective July 1, 2006, gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. In the event your ring (or jewelry) needs warranty or non-warranty service, return your ring with a letter of instruction to the address below. Shipping and handling charges may apply.

*If repairs cannot be made due to defects in workmanship and materials, the product will be replaced at Balfour’s discretion. If the product is no longer available, it will be replaced with a product of similar design and comparable value.
**No other change from the original order is permitted under the warranty. Genuine stones and diamonds are not covered by this warranty.
Change / Cancellation
Please and note that you have THREE business days to change or cancel your ring order. After three days, any change to the original order would result in the factory having to re-enter your order. This requires an additional $60.00 deposit. After three business days deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
